If you could sum up the Rolling Stones in three words, what would those words be?

All of these adjectives are an accurate description. Even if you think of them as old and past their prime, the point is they’re still being talked about and are therefore, still relevant (even if you don’t think so).

As their nickname “The World's Greatest Rock & Roll Band” states, the Stones are pretty badass - and they didn’t acquire their moniker from being timid or low-key. They did so by creating high energy rock ‘n’ roll that spans numerous generations.

Great content is like the Rolling Stones music: It’s timeless, bold, grabs people’s attention and persuades them to take action. The following is a guide to writing energy infused content to build a base of raving fans.

Time is On My Side: If you want to do a good job with your content creation services, take your time, and do it right the first time. Research your target market. Profile your customer extensively using demographics, buying habits, goals, etc. Understand what causes them the most frustration, and how your product can eliminate this frustration is crucial. Do you know what keywords they use to search for solutions to their problems? After all, if you don’t know who you’re writing for, how can you create an effective persona? Create an editorial calendar. An editorial calendar is a blueprint for your content creation services. Use it to map out your content according to the topics and the personas that you’re targeting.

Start Me Up: Take action and create a methodical content strategy. Think about your content creation services as a world tour, and each piece of content (ebook, white papers, etc) as an individual show. Content creation services need to effectively fulfill the three stages of lead nurturing: Awareness, evaluation and purchase.

Awareness Stage: Create a dynamic blog and corresponding literature, such as ebooks, whitepapers and tip sheets. Make sure that your content creation services address the prospects problem, so that the prospect trusts you as an authority on the subject. Make sure the content is lively - get your prospects pumped up! Not only will people become aware of your company, but they’ll want to get involved. Remember to add a bold call to action at the end of each piece to set prospects up for the second stage: Evaluation.

Evaluation Stage: Now that they know your company, your prospects need to decide if you’re the right person for the job. Demo videos and webinars are two content creation services that show your prospects how your company solves their needs. These visual aids will allow your prospects to see your written content in action.

Purchase Stage: Now that your prospects recognize you as a trusted authority within your niche and understand how your company can solve their needs, it’s time to put them in the driver’s seat. Whenever possible, give your audience a sneak peek of your product or service. This forces them to take action and can assure them that your services are the right fit for their needs—drastically increasing your chances for a sale.

Under My Thumb: Unlike the songs lyrics, I’m not encouraging you to control your audience at all costs, but you do want them to eventually become brand advocates. In order to do this, you have to provide them with quality information that appeals to the senses and delivers on its promise. Your content creation services must focus on the Customer Experience Optimization (CXO), examining the cycle of customer interaction in the entire process, and engaging your prospects at every stage of the cycle.
